(14) Jesus said to them, “If you fast, you’ll bring sin upon yourselves. If you pray, you’ll be condemned. If you give to charity, you’ll bring harm your spirits. When you go into any region & walk through the countryside, when people receive you, eat what they serve you. Heal the sick among them. For what goes into your mouth will not defile you.” (15) Jesus says, “When you see one who was not born of woman, fall on your faces & worship. That’s your father.”
(16) Jesus says, “Perhaps people think that I’ve come to impose peace upon the world. They don’t know that I’ve come to impose conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war. (See. People think that Jesus was here as a peacemaker. But that’s not correct. Even in the book of Revelation in the Christian New Testament, Jesus is made to be a warrior. Or not as a peacemaker.) For there will be 5 in a house; there will be 3 against 2 & 2 against 3. Father against son & son against father. They’ll stand alone.
(17) Jesus says, “I shall give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched, what has arisen in the human heart.” (18) The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us how our end will be.” Jesus said, “Have you discovered the beginning, then, so that you’re seeking the end? For where the beginning: That one will know the end & will not taste death.” (19) Jesus said, “Blessings on the one who came into being before coming into being. If you become my disciples & listen to my sayings, these stones will serve you. For there are 5 trees in paradise for you; they don’t change, summer or winter, & their leaves don’t fall. Whoever knows them will not taste death.”
